Kausar started off as self-taught and has been involved in arts & crafts for years. She started her creative journary in 1987 since then learning & teaching to be creative.In the 1990s she was the team leader in Pakistan for Trichem, an American paint company. Over time, Kausar gained various certifications and obtained training on color theory, which included lessons on mixing, techniques and applications on different surfaces (including canvas, paper and fabric). Subsequently, she held workshops & hosted television programs to encourage people to be creative & learn art. After moving to the US she also exhibited at local galleries. Kausar’s strengths include silk painting, miniature painting, (Mughal art) and textile printing. Her business focuses on wearables including scarves, ties, tunics and wall hanging decorations. As a professional artist and silk painter, Kausar belongs to several organizations: *Silk Painters International USA *Trichem USA * Silk Painters Pakistan (Creative Designers Team) * Flo Glo Paints (Pakistan) *International Graphic Designers’ forum
